Golcar United are really pleased to announce Kallum Reid has signed a contract with the club.

Manager Joe Skarz had the following to say: “I’m absolutely thrilled that Reidy has signed a contract with the club.

I genuinely believe that Kallum can play in the football league. At only 18 years of age he has so much potential and he needs to believe how good a player he is and how much more development he has in him.

Hes shown in the games he’s played in since he’s arrived that he’s learning and taking things on board very quickly.

I initially made contact with Reidy in the summer after seeing his grandad, and one of my ex-coaches, Mick Reid, at Gerry Murphy’s funeral. Mick expressed Kallum’s desire to be involved in men’s football so we reached out and I’m very glad we did.

He is a driven individual who wants to get even better, and we absolutely believe he will. It’s great to have him on board”.
