'Skarzy' will need no introduction to the Weavers faithful having played and captained the team between 2020 and 2023, making 98 appearances and scoring 5 goals.

Joe brings with him a wealth of experience from a distinguished playing career, which included spells at Huddersfield Town, Bury, Rotherham United and Oxford United. Joe also brings with him strong local roots and a deep understanding of the game. His leadership, professionalism and passion for both football and Golcar United make him the ideal man to take the club forward.

Joe has been coaching for the past 9 years, achieving all FA coaching qualifications during this time and has most recently been the First Team Development coach at Rotherham United.

As we enter a new chapter, we are confident that Joe will build on the strong foundations laid over the past 11 years by former managers, Ash and Gav, and continue to drive the club's ambitions both on and off the pitch.

We would like to extend a warm welcome back to Joe from everyone at Golcar United. We look forward to an exciting new era under his guidance.
