Golcar United enter the Northern Coutnies East League League Cup Second Round on Tuesday night as they make the trip to Barton Town
Joe Scarz's side got knocked out the FA Cup and FA Vase at the earliest round possible this season so the League Cup is now the perfect compeition to get a cup run going.
Back in August, Golcar travelled to Barton's Easy Buy Stadium but were on the end of a 3-0 defeat, a result the team will be hoping to avoid this time, despite their oppenents sitting third in the league table.
Barton Town have seven wins from 14 with five draws and just two losses. One of those defeats came on Friday night, when they lost 4-2 away at Sheffield FC
Last season in the League Cup, the Weavers made it to the Quarter finals where Silsden won 3-0 at the Skye Direct Stadium.
Friday night's game at home to Tadcaster Albion was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch which means it will have been ten games since the Village's last outing against Thackley and they will have to wait another 11 days with no game this coming weekend due to Bottesford Town's involvement in the Lincolnshire County Trophy.
The Easy Buy Stadium awaits the two sides
