Last time out The Village were edged out by league leaders Liversedge to end a six game unbeaten run.

We look to bounce back tomorrow as we make the journey over to South Yorkshire to face mid-table Parkgate.

It’s been very much an up and down season for the Steelmen but a recent poor run has dropped them down the table.

Currently Parkgate sit five points ahead of Joe Skarz’s men but they have also played two games more.

Definitely expect a few goals in this one as they’ve looked leaky at the back, conceding seventeen in just their last four games but on the other hand are not impartial to hitting the back of the net themselves.

Top scorers Harry Day and Alex Wonham both have seven league goals and will provide the main threat for The Weavers to stop.

Both the hosts top scorers are behind our own George Doyle in the scorer charts and hopefully our number nine can add to his numbers-sake nine already since returning.

Last season Doyle managed to find the net four times against tomorrows opponents, lets see if he can continue in that vein.

Having scored 14 goals in all competitions last month, The Weavers are firing on all fronts, despite the weather forecast predicting a dry afternoon in Rotherham it could well be raining goals in this one.

It is going to be a tough month ahead for The Village who are faced with a staggering six away games in our next seven matches.

The month of many miles begins tomorrow at Parkgate FC and don't forget it is a 2pm kick off.

Station: Rotherham Central 2¾ miles. Stagecoach Yorkshire 9 from Rotherham (Bus Station, adjacent to station) to Rawmarsh (Claypit Lane, Oates Avenue) four times per hour, journey time 13 minutes. Return bus runs from same stop. Entrance between rows of terraced houses directly behind bus stop, where road bends sharply right, go straight down drive to ground (5 minutes).
