Following last Saturday's postponement, prior to our trip to the Home of Football Stadium, The Village haven't played in the league since the 22nd of December.
Our last result being a disappointing display away in Frickley where Golcar flattered to deceive and struggled to a 2-0 defeat, knocking us out of the NCEL League Cup.
Tomorrow night a game against strong opposition in Tadcaster will demand an improvement in performance if we are to get the three points.
This fixture was postponed back at the start of October in between a period when both teams hit their best form of the season, since then both have dropped off slightly.
It's been 10 days since Tadcaster were last in action due to a postponed game away to Wombwell at the weekend, so they'll have to dust off the cobwebs and get back to business.
They will be ruing an especially frustrating November, featuring just one win at the start of the month against Sheffield FC and coming into this one after back-to-back losses.
It hasn't spoilt what has been an impressive season so far for The Brewers.
Last season they parted company with Mick O'Connell who had led them for the last two years.
The replacement was former player Ryan Qualter the man behind the huge improvement this season, in what is his first managerial job.
Key for them has been German-born Oliver Green, signing at the start of the season.
The striker has 10 league goals in 17 appearances, he'll prove to be difficult to stop for any team but hopefully we can keep him out tomorrow.
The Weavers are the top scorers in the bottom half of the table with 35, this firepower can be the key to victory in what should prove to be a high-scoring contest.
Part of our electric frontline is Callum Petch who has shone time and time again since returning. His trickery and quality in the final third are attributes which are going to be vital to us breaking down Tadcaster's stubborn backline.
Get down to The Skye Direct tomorrow night and help push the lads to a big three points!
Up The Village!
