The precarious league position requires it, and with three home games this month hopefully February can be something of a revitalisation for the squad.

There has been something of a mini recovery for the Dennyboys over the season. A struggle in September left them winless during the month but that hasn't happened since.

A feature of Thackley this season has been a reliance on a strong backline to secure results.

The hosts are the third lowest scorers in the division and their top scorer has just seven league goals but they're in the top half for least goals conceded. At the weekend this came to fruition again gaining three points in a solid 1-0 win at the Meridian Stadium.

Meaning they should be in good spirit ahead of our visit there tomorrow.
