The Skye Direct Stadium welcomes more guests from Sheffield this Saturday as Handsworth FC visit Golcar United.
Joe Skarz's side were 1-0 down to Sheffield FC last Friday before failure with two floodlights on the same side of the pitch, meant the game was abandoned by referee Matt Rose, with the result of the abandonment yet to be confirmed by the league.
In the meantime, it's a tough test for Golcar currently sitting 17th of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division having taken zero points from the opening two games and being knocked out of the FA Cup by North West Counties League side Ramsbottom United.
Despite the disappointing results, positive signs are to be seen with The Village in spells, especially the second half against Pickering Town where The Weavers dominated and dazzled the home team nearly mounting a stunning comeback.
The travelers Handsworth FC, were formed as the result of a merge between two clubs called Handsworth and Worksop Parramore in 2014.
The newly formed club were originally named Handsworth Parramore before being changed to Handsworth FC following the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
They have had a mixed start in the league this season, winning one and losing two and in 14th place.
The win came via a late quickfire double from Oliver Currie and Mitchell Dunne to secure a 2-1 victory in their first home league game.
But it hasn't all been easy-going for The Ambers, failing to score in their other two losses against Parkgate and Penistone Church as well as losing 4-1 to Silsden in their opening FA Cup tie.
Both sides will look to put recent bad results behind them at The Skye Direct Stadium tomorrow.
