Golcar United return to action tomorrow afternoon as Thackley are the visitors to the Skye Direct Stadium
Joe Scarz's side are looking for their third win of the season after a late Knaresborough equailser cancelled out George Doyle's brace which put Golcar 2-1 up earlier in the last game.
Thackley currently sit in 13th place with three wins from 12 where Golcar find themselves in 16th place with two wins from 11. A crucial game for both sides!
Last season, it was mixed reviews as despite a 2-1 victory at tomorrow's visitors earlier on in the 24/25 campaign, a 4-0 loss at the Skye Direct brought 2024 to an end with a low note just after Christmas
This week, Callum Petch returned to the club. He was one of the stars of last season and could make his homecoming against Thackley on Saturday.
This game is also dedicated to young fan Alfie Firth who sadly passed away earlier in the month. Alfie and his dad were regulars at Golcar and all gate receipts for the game will go towards the costs of Alfie's funeral. There is also a just giving page set up if you wish to donate on their which you can find on the club's social media platforms.
The Skye Direct Stadium awaits to the two sides.
