It's a second of three home games in a week for Golcar United as Wombwell Town visit the Skye Direct Stadium.

Joe Scarz's side will be looking for their fourth league win after an impressive 6-0 display over Frickley Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

Amongst the goal scorers on Saturday were, George Doyle who bagged a hat trick plus the one goal each from Zachary Rushworth and Rico Kilbourn. There was also an own goal netted from the visitors.

Tuesday night's oppenents, Wombwell, sit 17th in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division table, a place below the Village on goal difference.

Wombwell were only founded in 2018 so this is the first competivtive meeting between the two sides. The 'Wellers' came up through the division one play offs last season, they currently have three wins from 13 and at the weekend got knocked out the FA Vase by Winsford United, losing 1-0.

A win for Golcar could see them climb to 14th before they welcome league leaders Liversedge on Friday.
