League leaders Tadcaster Albion visit the Skye Direct Stadium this evening in which is going to be a huge test for Golcar United
Joe Scarz's side are still looking for their third win of the season but had a fairly decent September with only one loss, two wins and three draws.
Last weekend, Thackley visited but both teams were held to a 0-0 draw in a match dedicated to young fan Alfie Firth who sadly passed away last month. On his homecoming, Callum Petch hit the post towards the end of the game.
Tonight's oppenents Tadcaster were towards the bottom of the table for much of last season but did manage to stay up and now in this campaign have eight wins from 13. They did lose at Liversedge though at the weekend, 3-0.
Last season, Golcar won at home 2-1 with a brace from Alfie Wilkinson but at Tadcaster, a first half goal from Callum Petch was cancelled out in the second 45 which saw the game end 1-1.
Tonight's match sponsors are Standard Fireworks and the match ball sponsors are Minstry of Colours. Thank you to them for their support.
The Skye Direct Stadium awaits the two teams.
