Jake was previously at Guiseley, where he made 354 appearances, and a popular player. He also has experience in playing in the EFL with Harrogate Town, where he made 17 appearances.

Lawlor has also played for Wrexham, Hartlepool United, Salford City, Bromley, Darlington, Liversedge and Ossett Town.
